I have a technial question to ask you.
I have looked at some diamonds at other shops. When I looked at some diamonds at the side view, there is whitish line about a third of the way up from the bottom of the diamond. It looks like a crack line in the diamond.
The jeweller said : ' This line is simply the reflection of the girdle in the pavilion facets. The pavilion acts as an internal mirror and is simply reflecting the girdle. There is nothing in the diamond, and this is a normal reflection that should appear in almost every diamond shape'.
Is it ture??
